Adjunct Professor for General Physics
Adjunct instructor needed to teach Physics 121 and 122: General Physics. These courses are a two-semester sequence of physics courses targeted towards science majors. The fall semester course (121) covers the classical physics including mechanics, wave motion, heat, and thermodynamics. The spring semester course (122) includes an introduction to magnetism, electromagnetic waves, light and optics, and modern physics. These are non-calculus based physics courses that are introductory in nature and targeted towards students majoring in chemistry or biology. Another significant population of students are those in pre-professional training for programs in physical therapy, medicine, and other health related fiends.
