Assistant Professor of Cell Biology & Physiology
The Department of Cell Biology and Physiology at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine invites applications for a Tenure-track, Assistant Professor faculty position to build and sustain an active research program in cardiovascular physiology and disease. We are particularly interested in candidates with strong interests in basic biomedical research that complement existing departmental strengths in vascular biology, systemic hypertension, endothelial biology, ion channel physiology, signal transduction, glycocalyx function, and mitochondrial biology. The department is home to the Minority Institutional Research Training Program (T32), which has been training graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in Cardiovascular
