The Department of Biology at Xavier University of Louisiana invites applicants for a non-tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 2026. The ideal candidate will have an earned master’s degree (M.S.) in a science-related discipline and national certification as a medical laboratory scientist/medical technologist (ASCP or equivalent). A doctorate in biological sciences or related discipline and experience teaching at the undergraduate level is preferred.About the DepartmentThe Department of Biology is the largest in the College of Arts & Sciences at Xavier with a total of 750-800 majors each year.
