Position Description The Bass School of Arts, Humanities, and Technology at The University of Texas at Dallas seeks applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the History of Science and/or Technology, with research and teaching interests in any region, period, or subfield. The successful candidate will have evidence of scholarly promise with a significant research program, a strong record in teaching, and a commitment to professional academic service. We seek a candidate who can contribute to our BA, MA, and PhD programs in History. The standard teaching load is two courses in each of the fall and spring semesters. Duties include active research, graduate student supervision, committee service, and classroom teaching at all levels.
