The German, Russian, Italian and Arabic Department at Hamilton College invites applications for a one-year visiting position with the possibility of a one-year renewal in Arabic beginning July 1, 2026. The candidate will be expected to offer courses in Arabic literature or cultural studies, as well as to teach Modern Standard Arabic language courses. Applicants should have native, or near-native, fluency in Arabic and a record of excellence in teaching Arabic language using a communicative approach that emphasizes developing students' language skills in meaningful, real-world contexts.
